OUR APPROACH

OUR APPROACH

Coaching Enterprise Architects is set up as a partnership network. Our coaching associates are independently operating professionals, each with their own areas of experience and expertise. CEA provides a core curriculum and a learning & coaching methodology which all of our associates use, while slotting in their own specific material where appropriate. This allows us to tailor our services to your specific needs and select the best coaches to deliver those services. You will always get exactly the learning experience you need, delivered by the people best equipped to guide you on your learning journey.

With industry sector expertise that includes strength in mining, airline, travel, tourism, health and government she has managed a broad spectrum of projects, for global organisations and government agencies.

She has delivered effective architecture outcomes as well as building and managing architecture teams.

Her strengths lie in communicating complex concepts in simple, easy to understand ways, based on the audience she is working with and the outcome being sought.

She is a professionally certified Enterprise Architect (TOGAF®), and holds a Bachelor of Information Technology, Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of IT Management.

“I’ve known Christine for a decade and worked with her at 2 organisations. She is a person of vision, pragmatism and expertise in her field of Enterprise Architecture and I thoroughly enjoy working with her. I would hold Christine up as a role model, not just in the EA discipline, but for what it means to engage with integrity, good humour and a bit of steel too”

Jez Eherington, konvergent (Partner)

“Pragmatic & effective Enterprise Architecture!  I’ve been a client for over a decade & this team have helped me transition from analyst to architect & industry speaker.  I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

Heidi Beets, Business Architect

“Christine is perceptive and purposeful. She very quickly picked up key underlying themes, which, with her guidance, I reflected on. I found the visual nature along with structure in her coaching session helped me discern my thoughts and gain clarity on next steps.”

Ania Murlewski, Digital Transition and Transformation

Tom Graves

Tom is one of the acknowledged pioneers of whole-enterprise architectures, linking across all aspects of the organisation, beyond IT alone. He is also well known for his catchphrase “Things work better when they work together, on purpose”.

He has worked with organisations of all sizes from one-person startups to global-scale multinationals, guiding change at all levels from front line to executive and beyond. Professionally he has worked as an independent or in partnerships for the entirety of his career.

Tom is a prolific author and communicator, with books, and articles translated into at least a dozen languages worldwide. Although his focus as a writer has been mainly on non-fiction for skills-development, increasingly he has turned to fiction and storytelling as a better way to explore complex ideas and issues. He also has a life in there somewhere, though sometimes it can be hard to tell what exactly it is.

“Tom has consistently provided very insightful comments and constructive criticism to my blog on TOGAF as an enterprise architecture framework for government. He has prepared an excellent guest posting for my blog – a case study on the same topic. He has added tremendous value to my blog and to my experience on Twitter, where he is also quite active in EA discussions. I recommend Tom as an EA with both a holistic, business-focused perspective, and a very incisive intellect”
John Polgreen, Independent Consultant

Tom is a friendly guy who knows his stuff about enterprise architecture from back to front. He is a pleasure to work with. Very creative too

Jamie T, CEO at JA Media (International)

“As a creative and constructive writer Tom is outstanding. A closer look at his material may have readers thinking ‘lots of theory’. In my experience seeing his output used in practical ways across divisions –it is far from it. ”
